The screening process is critical in determining an employee’s suitability for a particular job. The pre-placement/post-offer screen will determine whether a potential employee is able to safely perform the physical requirements of the job with reasonable accommodations. The pre-placement/post offer screen is done after a job offer is given. The job offer is contingent upon the passing of the pre-placement/post-offer screen.
Legally, employers cannot ask whether a job candidate has had any previous injuries. This physical screen can decrease an employer’s risk of hiring someone that has had a previous injury and may not be able to perform the physical job tasks or may be at risk for future injury.
This screen must be performed at PhysioCare Physical Therapy.
